Yeah I'm ok. Pain and frustration but had a great time at the chicken show! Brought home a few "interesting"things...    Hubby said when he unloaded them "Hey why do those curly ducks look so different?" 

You better be careful, you told him you didn't know what they are,he's going to start looking up curly feathered duck breeds and then he's going to figure out they're geese.

you need to be a young woman hunting "in heat" it works like a charm trust me, In squirrel season I was really close to getting attacked by a buck and standing up telling him to get lost and flagging arms didnt help him from coming straight to me ughhhh
I didn't want to broach that subject, figuring it might get a little touchy, but you're 100% correct.

The action potential from the RETINA goes to SOME areas in the brain. Some goas to the LGN( Lateral Geniculate Nucleous) wich layes in the THALAMUS and from there its travel to the optic cortex in the occipital lob of the Cerebrum. Some info goes to the SCN (Suprachiasmatic nucleus ) wich is responsible to the circadian rhythm by controlling the pineal gland, and some gos to some brain nuclear that controls the muscles that moves the eye balls. The Hypothalamus , that controls the reproductive system gets its info and commands from higher parts of the cerebrum that process all the sensory info that came from the sensory system including the eye. ( you made me refresh my neuroscience studies )

At least that was not instantly off the top of your head. I swear I have forgotten so much through disuse that I feel like a middle schooler.

I am okay. Determined to get more outside stuff done today. Duckling went on a trip. I can't remember if it is Indiana, PA or the state. IDK when she will be back. Probably tomorrow.
I do have to get the incubator washed out, and prepare for the babies. If any make it, they will be alone in the house over Christmas. That is going to take planning.

And I think I just figured it out!
