Thank you ALL for your help in easing my frantic questions.... I'm sure I'll be asking the same things again at some point. I printed out 12 pages of notes, but hey are all scattered, not in order, @sally sunshine we could make it into a printable booklet! There is so much great info in that section, literally hours of click n read topics you could call it "The Hatcher's Bible"

@ocap @ChickenCanoe Do you have a preference in camp cook ware for hiking? Any experienced advice on what us needed and what is not in the cookware and food departments?
I bought a msr micro rocket stove.

My wife uses a Jetboil (stove and pot in one system) the pot part has been redesigned, shorter and wider

With the stove you have I would carry one pot, use it for hot drink and dinner food, about three or four cup, handle attached
a lid saves fuel so I would carry a lid, I found a picture but would not carry three pots

cook and eat with the same spoon, spare plastic spoon required (I broke a handle once) don't bother with fork, small knife for cheese and cutting cords or string

be careful when you have a windy day pot and stove blow over

you need to measure water before cooking and only heat what you are needing to save fuel
