Thanks. I think I'll let them go another hour or so. They are running around so much I can't tell if there's one egg or two left.

On my second game, the guy got so mad, I was on the 8 ball and when he missed his shot he grabbed the 8 ball and threw it into the pocket. :bun

The one that is full but unhatched, try a float test. Put it in water and see if it moves around.
Anyone else have suggestions?
I usually just let them stay in an incubator but with a broody, she may just abandon them to take care of the live chicks.

Hungry or missing close contact with mom.

In most cases they don't even have possession of them from the time they are accepted at the originating facility and logged in, till the time they reach the destination city.
They pass them off to secondary carriers to save money. While they're out of their hands, no one is scanning the package.

They have gone to other vendors for primary transport to save cost. The USPS is the only government entity that is required by congress to fund itself. And fully fund its pensions as well, I might add.

Call your congressman.

They don't hear them. They're in a cargo bay somewhere with thousands of other packages, many with other live animals.

Just stop it.

I've never heard of that. Their goal is to get them to their destination, not find foster care.
That's why the postal regulations are what they are. They are written so that any live animals will be properly contained and are in a condition that they can make it to their destination without intervention. Day old chicks or adult birds only. No 2 week old birds allowed, for example. Only approved containers so they have adequate ventilation without being able to escape.

What day of the week did you set the eggs in the incubator? Was it a Tuesday.

Ya' think? I'm shocked.

See, no need for alarm.

I know some people that work for the Postal service.

There was a control burn in the El Dorado hills. Just got a news update. 500 homes in the Tahoe area have been evacuated due to a fire. More later
That's some pricey real estate. Good luck to all. Lets pray for light rain and a good snow pack.

@kwhites634 I can't find your post from yesterday, but she does cast towards the old posts in the pond. It's the remnants of an old dock.
That's where all the panfish hang out.
The 3 primary things fish look for. Cover, comfort and food. If you find 2 of those, you'll find fish. If you find all 3, more fish.

We have four cats of our own, feed how many strays where we live people just drop them off and our neighbors have gotten quite the collection there's cats on the porch, on the picnic table, under the cars.
Good luck to native wildlife.

I have 6 indoor only cats, I am not sure how many are outside. They show up all the time, I just feed them, my daughter tries to tame them.
Good luck taming a feral cat.

Emma, EE hen... She's 8 1/2, I think... She's still got spirit but I'm doubting she'll make it past this winter.
Of course, I said that last year...

Good morning!
