Quote: I checked his profile - he hasn't been on BYC since September. But I was off of BYC for several months earlier, just because I had gotten too busy to keep up. Hoping it's just that - I know he was a pretty busy guy...

GOOD MORNING, MY LOVELIES! I HOPE EVERYONE HAS HAD A PLEASANT NIGHT, AND A GOOD START TO THE DAY!

Thank you, ma'am!

Miss Sally, Miss Sally!!!!!

@Sally Sunshine

Can you remind me - you run your 'bator a bit hot, right? Like, 100.5F?

Meanwhile, Puppy got out this morning - AGAIN. I couldn't find an outdoor nest (though I bet there's one somewhere) - I wish I could, I'd set all those eggs right now. I worry that she'll do this when I'm out of town, it's hard enough for me to catch her, the chicken sitter will have a bear of a time.

Well, I have two horses, three cows and a steer, six dairy goats, seven meat goats (plus the kids leaving), three llamas, chickens, more chickens, and three cats
My math looks like this $x$x$ :/

My math look a like $$X$$$x$$$$$$$$=$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :th :hit

In the end it always equals $0
yep, that's exactly how much money I usually have

Are these babies big enough to live in an open sided tractor without heat? Do I need to give them something like a dogloo on the cold nights coming up? It's 53 right now.

Also, got the kids' ugly Christmas sweaters finished! The note came MONDAY that the contest was TODAY.

Bubba was disheartened that I wouldn't made him cinnamon toast for breakfast. I have never ever made anyone cinnamon toast for breakfast before school.

DD absolutely loves this sort of stuff.

I bribed bubba for a smile.

My ducks shelter was a calf hut, all year. Ducks are tough.

Quote: Hi Dax, good points on the dogs. What age are meat goats processed?
Here no more than 1 year! 10 month are better!
Thank you!

@campingshaws, I throw my ducklings out at 2 weeks to an unheated coop. As long as they stay dry and out of the wind they can withstand down to freezing easy. Ducks are super tough
