In case anyone ever wondered, this is what 1-3/4 pounds of collard greens looks like. (My mother used to wash them in the bath tub). I'm about to make Kashmiri-style collard greens (Madhur Jaffrey's recipe). Yum!!!

 I have kraut several years old too. It is just fine.     Which is another reason my wife criticized my making 20 more gallons of it this year.  I  want to stock up incase there is a kraut shortage.
