oh well, i will eat something else.

Why is it that I go to the grocery store, and expect to spend like 20 bucks, and always spend like 200.   :he :th

Self control. Or, you are like any mom, and you don't have time to make a proper shopping list. I go in, not having considered half the stuff I need.

I do that too!!!
in fact i am doing it in like an hour

:lau You are intentionally accidentally spending more than you intended to not intend to intend to spend?

My bator is full. Well it's more af an experiment that a bator so who knows. I really don't need more chicks or chickens. Built it after turning the compost pile.
So my to do list is done. Anything after this is icing.

I meant to go in, and get tortillas, water, and a couple things for huband and some bananas.

I walk out with tomatoes for the chickens, avacados, ham, turkey, a pre-cooked chicken so I didn't have to cook dinner, ciabtta rolls that were gluten free, rock stars and a couple star bucks mochas... flour tortillas for my husband, corn tortillas for the rest of us. grape juice, 8 dollars in seedless grapes because my toddler asked so nicely, probably got 20 dollars in cheese, because my husband likes to make sandwhiches wtih meat/cheese, then the kids wanted string cheese, and it was on sale... then the butter was on sale.... :hmm Sigh.

I didn't go with a list this time, because I only intended to get like 3 things. Normally, I make a list, spend about 125-225 and go every other week and hubby buys a few little things inbetween.

Groceries are our biggest expense.... we spend between 800-1200 a month - but that includes dog food, chicken food/layer feed, starter feed, game/duck feed, cracked corn and scratch grains for the flocks for a treat... goat pellets, and weight gainer for my hard keeper.

We also buy them lettuce, carrots, and other treats because I fail at having a garden.
