EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Roughly 4'x4'x2' wood box next to the stove. It's in the corner, so we can pile it higher than the top. We have to fill it every 3-4 days, depending on temp. We go through a LOT of wood in a year!
The wife's allergic to wood smoke so we haven't used stove in many years. In fact it's in the barn now hooked up for when I'm out there.

Quote: I was trying to upload a picture of the monster that eats all that wood, but it doesn't want to cooperate tonight. I believe it's the largest stove Timberline made; rated @ 2500sf (we have 2400), airtight. It's over 40 years old. We bought it new....been heating with wood longer than that.

I'm all played out....tomorrow's another day.

Hi everyone! I'm finally around after the holidays and insanity. Sold out of my whole soap stock and I've closed the store for restocking. Girls are doing great, they're getting lots of greens because my in-laws don't go through all the spinach and lettuce they buy. Just got back from the US yesterday and I have class today, fingers crossed that I don't go crazy.

That just might work. I'll see if I can adapt it to the old 2-wheel frame I have. Thanks a bunch.

This thread never ceases to amaze me; whatever you need, there's always someone around here that can help you find it or build it.
we actually used to have one at the house until I broke the frame from underneath of it
