@Fire Ant Farm I made cages with roll-away floors to keep the eggs from the nasty birds. The stuff I bought lists beef byproducts as the first ingredient. Some of the birds, some of the birds refused to touch it....

They are like little spoiled brats..





This is the cage I made today. Those are actual convicts in the photo.

Below is a test run on the slopping floor. I am hoping the ceramic egg rolls faster than a lighter real egg.

Well, you've done what you can. I like your set up. Agree they may need more of a slow-down. You could put something to hang down at the gap to slow them down - just tell WWD that it's "to keep the chickens from reaching the eggs".

Ant farm,

I got five eggs from the honas today! A sign from the universe to start gathering a fresh clutch to ship and hatch all the "old" ones.

I accidentally cracked part of a guys black toe off while doing wound care....

(In my defense, he was waiting for an amputation of the foot but wanted to tell his family so had to do daily would care until they could make it into town)

You maybe fun to spend detention with..BUT remind me to never have you care for me if I am sick....
