Ok,  I have always hatched in a separate incubator even before I got a hatcher.. So it is what I think it is...

Yep a mess. I do have a styrofoam bator now that I hatch in but the main incubator only holds 24 eggs, and it can be full in less than a week. So there's really no room to drop a few more in

@duluthralphie have you seen the meat crosses 'lpatelski' has with CX and DC? Amazing growth rate and self sustaining. I'm going to be trying CX NN cross.
What breed(s) did you use in your 'toads' ?

I have seen those, we are on a meat bird thread together. They are very similar to mine.

I used CX's and Dixie rainbows to make toads. It was not a straight cross though.

Ahh.. I have 4 foam incubators and 3 cabinets and my hatcher. The WWD thinks I have too many. but what does she know...

Hey Penn. Yes got the lightbulbs. They are very bright (I got daylight white). Haven't switched them all over yet-waiting for Bill to have a day off since I am not allowed on a ladder  . Without the pool or air running last month our electric bill was a record high of $566  . And a lot of our stuff is propane! Hopefully next month we will see the difference.. 

The sad part of the bill, the more you save the higher the rates go. I really hope it goes down for you. Glad the bulbs worked. Some of our fluorescent burned out so it's time to order a box.

Ouch. Lucky the breakers worked as needed.

Yes breaker worked for flashlight instance, but when the GFI outlet kept tripping occasionally few times a week and we just kept resetting it the breaker never tripped. Being the wire was loose in the breaker it was arking and heating up melted it back four inches. If it went much further it would have been melting on dry wood it's stapled to.
