CH have your Mother read the calibration methods after it has batteries installed.... and your reading it sideways here try again....

yes and we did but it's confusing.the high and low don't make since and when I stick it in the bator it shows 117 degrees but when I open it there is no way it's that hot.the other one u had sent have been staying between 99.5 and 101 for the past 4 days

Sounds like it's 17* high.
