If I soak them in an ice bath, which I usually do, I add a lot of sea salt.no salt? at all? interesting
I have a lot of extra boys to process in the next couple months. No exact head count but probably about 20.Nope never salted them. We've eaten anything from 1.5 yrs old down to about 20 weeks. Haven't had any issues.
Just extra boys or mean boys from the flock.
It isn't fancy but we have a smoker. It has 2 levels for meat. The best bird came out when I smoked a mature rooster slowly on the bottom and a rack of baby back ribs above it.If I smoked them I would. Want to get a smoker one of these days.
Maybe not but you are a light color....
I checked preferences, and I see lots of checked boxes except the the one at the bottom that says "tag to text" or something like that. Hey, I never said I was the brightest crayon in the box!
If applied properly yes. Google z-bar Home Depot and Lowes has it. There's even a you tube video on application.
I understand applied correctly! We bought a house in Albuquerque and found a roof leak about a year later when the patch had aged. The roofer had applied the valley flashing in the wrong order, the ignorant person started at the top and the overlap was wrong.
Didn't he know how to read or was he to good for that?
Take a breath. The amount of time it takes me to think and my mouth to spout is .005 seconds. Lol

You didn't take a left at Albuquerque?
Yea all of mine have been DP birds. Smoking ribs over top of a bird would be delicious....

They are DP birds though.
I've raised both CornishX and Freedom rangers a few times.
