Got a full day today. I'm moving the 1 week olds to the other house to a bigger brooder, which will let me then move the newborns into that better brooder (they're in a crate now). Once they're 1 week old, I'll need to merge the two groups.

Then chicken chores, garden chores, household chores, cooking, grading assignments... The usual.

I am making 'crappie' for breakfast today. 'some one' brought me fresh crappie when they picked up some chicks yesterday.


And for those of you 'wondering', deep fried pickles have a shelf life when in the freezer, it is less thEn '2 years'.
