I have turkey poults hatching! Mine are also early. They were due Saturday morning but then again, my poults always seem to hatch early. There are 3 out so far

At least I haven't found any in the bottom of the cabinet so far this year...YET lol

The incubator dropped last night, to 52 degrees, killed every last one of the pipped eggs

I confess to not counting chickens at night. When closing the coop, I will listen for the ducks. They are the stragglers, and being on the floor, they are the most likely to be dead (or quacking loudly!) if there is a visitor in the coop.
This morning there are five girls and Lucky (the rooster that escaped twice when processing) huddled against a wall. I see no damage to combs or feet despite the wicked windchill.
