She drove up my drive, past the "Keep Out" Biosecurity Area signs..... Past the "Employees only beyond this point" sign and walked through the door into my Pole barn with the "No Admittance, Biosecurity area, keep out"...

She then came face to face with Bert. and I heard a scream. Followed by "GD that is one big chicken"....

The problem is that she's a long way away, and coz of the coop rebuild I just want a few so temporary housing is easier, but at the same time I want to expand my duck flock enough I'd just have to go back again next year. Thank you all for the sympathy yesterday.

9 of the chickens ended up surviving. Still have one unaccounted for. I imagine she is dead and I just haven't found her. This is the first time my dog has dug out of the yard, not sure what set her off, very upsetting day.

All the goat pictures are giving me goat fever!!!

Reading up on pigs. I'm going to go get me some hog paneling to build an indestructable fence. I'm only getting *1* pig, so it's gonna have to learn to live with other farm animals....

Right now, i'm reading up on how to potty train them........

I forgot the picture so I went back and put it in if you want to see it. A bunch of girls were all together dustbathing so I thought it was cool.

Sometimes depending on the temperatures my horse will pee and when it hits the ice/snow it turns pink

Proteins in the urine, called pyrocatechines, oxidize in low temperatures, which produces colors ranging from a light pink to red, orange or brown. The same thing can occur when a sample of urine is refrigerated.

Why I Love Getting Older

1. My goal for 2016 was to lose 10 pounds. Only 15 to go.

2. Ate salad for dinner. Mostly croutons & tomatoes. Really just one big round crouton covered with tomato sauce. And cheese. FINE, it was a pizza. I ate a pizza.

3. How to prepare Tofu:
a. Throw it in the trash
b. Grill some meat

4. I just did a week's worth of cardio after walking into a spider web.

5. I don't mean to brag, but I finished my 14-day diet food in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

6. A recent study has found women who carry a little extra weight live longer than men who mention it.

7. Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

8. Senility has been a smooth transition for me.

9. Remember back when we were kids and every time it was below zero outside they closed school? Me neither.

10. I may not be that funny or athletic or good looking or smart or talented. I forgot where I was going with this.

11. I love being almost 80. I learn something new every day and forget 5 others.

12. A thief broke into my house last night. He started searching for money so I woke up and searched with him.

13. I think I'll just put an "Out of Order" sticker on my forehead and call it a day.

14. November 6, 2016 was the end of Daylight Savings Time. Hope you didn't forget to set your bathroom scale back 10 pounds on Saturday night.

It can't be protein! Protein are never found in normal urine.
