its not actually a protein its a plant metabolite, whatever that means

ok, i understood part of that
but for whatever reason the pyrocatechines oxidize and cause the urine to turn pink/red/orange/brown
my horse's urine is very PINK in the winter

ahhh, ok, lol i did know about the protein part and the kidneys, mainly because i almost died from renal failure
and my daughter had a kidney removed

Yup - smell's still there this morning. And in the yard as well. Someone had a PAR-TAY last night. Um... I'm not sure if that's really cute or really gross... Both? Thanks, MC!
