My little Top Hat guy was dead tonight when I checked on them....The cute ones always die.

Agree with that, I had 5 chicks hatch from Miss Sunshine and only two made it to adulthood :(
They were the only chicks I've ever lost.

Thanks but no need to feel sorry for me, it happens, when you hatch as much as I do. Some just do not make it, this was a late hatcher that I had to help out of the shell. There is a reason God does not let some hatch. They just aren't strong enough or something is amiss internally. I would rather have one I keep die than one I sell to someone.





About the bread... Why did I not get the fresh heels and a pound of butter for them?

I only ever had issues when I hatched the icelandics, no clue why, was weird. But hatching them from this flock now I havent lost any after hatch.
