Oh my, I hope everyone gets out ok. How close is that to you? Any chance you would need to be evacuated?

It's only an hour away. Something I didn't know about it it's supposed to be the tallest dam in USA. If that thing goes there's going to be many hurt people. Yesterday they said there wasn't any danger. I'm going to go see what it's doing on the news. I'm not sure how far it would make it downstream.

Not really a ringing endorsement of the taste when the best you can says is "It doesn't taste THAT bad".
I went GF recently enough I still remember what gluten bread tasted like. It's not the same, and I ain't claiming it to be.... But, as far as GF breads go, it's the best one I've found. It isn't dry or crumbly.

The only good part of that is there's no fighting over the bowl beaters or spatula.

True...

The WWD use to go nuts, I would make the kids CC cookie dough and put it in the fridge for us to eat.

She was always harping we were going to die of salmonella poisoning... None of us did.

I don't think she has even tasted it she is too afraid of it... which means MORE for me..

But she did sneak in and bake it now and then. When she felt strong enough to bear the kids and my whining about her ruining our dough.

Yep, raw cookie dough, cake batter, brownie batter, you name it. I got the bowl, my brother got the spoon. Now they have warnings saying, DO NOT EAT RAW DOUGH/BATTER it contains raw eggs. :ep OMG! I'm almost 64 years old! I'd better stop licking the bowl and sampling the cookie dough. It might damage my health! My husband finally downloaded the pictures I took on Tuesday just to prove this whole thing isn't a figment of my imagination. Here are my little eggs all marked and waiting to go into the incubator:
Right with you on age. Did you know that butter contains milk. Yep it says so right on the box. Good luck with the hatch

I have no idea why I typed brooder instead of incubator. I was outside all day working on doubling the size of my run. Right now I have my four bantams in with the main flock and I'm noticing the Buff O roosters doing the "Hey, baby, come here often? Come here and talk to me for a minute. I got cookies. Wanna see my etchings?" thing with my little hens so it's time for them to be moved to their own coop and run before they get flattened by my over amorous roosters.

Dry and crumbling is what happened to the first loaf. And too salty. If you see this kid on regular flour and the difference it is making by taking her off you'd be baking GF as fast as you can. Completely different kid.

I have a recipe too,

It is a high protein treat for chickens..

Take  a coffee can of ground corn,
             1/2 can of BOSS
             sprinkling of oats

Fold in 4 baby rodents.... pound like crazy with a baseball bat...

Feed it to the chickens..They love it...

* Dan I can tell you what to substitute for the rodents if you want.....

Nice. How long was the break for laying?

The ducks have been three or four months.

Oh no!! Your ruining perfectly good chocolate chip cookie dough by baking it?????:lau

CC cookies are good, but dough is better.

Now I want chocolate chip cookie dough! :barnie

A good parent lets you lick the bowl. A great parent turns off the beaters first!

Yeah... I tried many different recipes; but this is the only one that worked. I tweaked the psyllium content that was in the original recipe, but otherwise it was pretty great...

Has she gone totally GF or just had food with active wheat ingredients removed?
