That's similar to my sourdough pizza crust recipe. Love that sourdough pizza!!! @Phage - I somehow missed your original post but LOVE this. I SO want Ayam Cemani. Will probably contact you in fall or spring for eggs. Well, it was 82F today, I'm thinking this is a pretty good climate for them!!!! Now, now, plenty of people bake. One of these days imma come up there and bake with you. (If it makes you feel any better, I had to do that with my mother, twice, over Christmas, before she got the hang of dealing with the starter and the baking.) See, Sally?! Yeah, the main reason I have started refusing to help is that I've had to euthanize two chicks. It had to be done, but it was horrible. Don't want to invite any more experiences like that unless I have to. Mmmmmmmmm, love those fresh heels with butter. After all, you have to cut the heel off to get the first proper slice. And you can't let it go to waste... OMG, yes!!!!!!!! LOVE cookie dough!!!!! Sally, I got some of this and have been using it for the first week or two of life with this year's chicks. They are all doing so well and growing so well - you can tell! Now that Monkey is inside with his mild bumble foot (and freaky scaled feet), he gets the second half of the batch I made up for the chicks (since it usually just gets thrown away - I make 1/2 gallon at a time with 1/2 scoop). I always went through that with my mother. If I was making them, I'd sneakily try to leave a lot of dough in the bowl, and then make sure to volunteer to clean up. Sally had a question about dealing with scurs - she posted a pic. Was disbanded twice before 8 weeks. How close are you to being threatened or having to evacuate? (Sorry, I'm wiped out, geographical brain not working.) Be sure to stay safe! My roosters are a little more like, "Hey baby, I have a camero. If I take you to Wendys do you think we can go park?" Congrats on the Muscovy egg! OMG, BEATERS!!!!!! I loved "cleaning" the beaters after making cake batter. That's what made it so fun! I was very good at it - I was all like:
The ducks have been three or four months.
Now I want chocolate chip cookie dough!
@heatherfeather7
A good parent lets you lick the bowl. A great parent turns off the beaters first!
They have now closed one lane of south bound 70 for people going north. Lines at the gas stations are crazy. Sil evacuating the hospital she's in charge of. They say it's getting better and they have a plan to help plug the hole that's causing so much erosion. Hope so.

I was very good at it - I was all like: Honestly, Bacon, eggs and toast is one of my very favorite dinners... I hate it when that happens. It won a Darwin award, but it's still sad. Well, I got a lot done, but have now officially run out of gas. And I have an early morning tomorrow. Just finished a chicken, bacon, and cheddar pizza, now taking a bath. Then comes the struggle of staying awake long enough for my hair to be at least somewhat dry... - Ant Farm
Mandatory Evacuation is 30 minutes away at this point . From that point the water is projected to turn west away from us towards the ocean, if the overflow fails. I should be ok. Even the four NN chicks that hatched on their own last with the power failures are struggling. Two haven't made it.
Pulled 14 out, we left two that are still kinda wet and one that stayed in the shell too long and is having problems uncurling but is making some improvement
Someone did a poor job it it has been done twice. I have one I just have to cut off every once in a while. Those cut wires are great. I removed all the bedding, and sprayed permethrin for lie and put pour on one the goats and llama. Then I put out some new compaction rock and topped it with straw so I am ready for kids.
