Residents are being asked to evacuate north, toward Chico. DWR said residents in other cities should follow the orders of local law enforcement.

Mandatory Evacuation is 30 minutes away at this point . From that point the water is projected to turn west away from us towards the ocean, if the overflow fails. I should be ok.

Even the four NN chicks that hatched on their own last with the power failures are struggling. Two haven't made it.

Pulled 14 out, we left two that are still kinda wet and one that stayed in the shell too long and is having problems uncurling but is making some improvement

Yeah! There's this really TINY one, it's like maybe a third the size of the others, my guess is it's got mallard in it.

73% of total fertile eggs and 85% of the eggs that made it to lockdown so far, not bad for my second ever hatch and first duck hatch.
