No - no cutting. Soaking daily in medicated antibiotic solution and then ointment and padding. Vet said no cutting only soaking and wound care and patience. Scab came off two nights ago - nothing under it, so I either caught it early or it started to resolve itself. In another few days, I'll take him back out when I'm sure it's all closed up.

Just stopping in to say hi. I was 900 pages behind, there is no chance I can catch up. I just wanted to check with all the Northern California folks on here - nobody is near the Oroville dam, are they? I hope the spillway holds and none of the flooding happens.
