I had another ask me to put her eggs in the fridge before I mailed them because if they are cooled the percentage of girls is higher.

What a week so far. All the evacuated folks can now come home. One of our subdivision was part of it. The dam isn't fixed but they feel it's safer now. The are working on repairs. Another 7 day rain event is coming Thursday it's supposed to be another warm one melting more snow.

My chicks are really doing well with the rope light and towel.

What a week so far. All the evacuated folks can now come home. One of our subdivision was part of it. The dam isn't fixed but they feel it's safer now. The are working on repairs. Another 7 day rain event is coming Thursday it's supposed to be another warm one melting more snow.

My chicks are really doing well with the rope light and towel.

I have been seeing that on the news. What a mess you have out there.

The dams upstream tried to hold back water but they can't anymore so that's on its way as well. Things were saturated before this mess started. Nowhere for it to go.

Work schedule is now bumped out on an already tight schedule to get folks in, if they are still going to buy. Don't guess I would.

Seriously! What kind of people live in Minnesota? Lol.

My issue with people this year so far is that they all want me to raise the babies out for them. Nobody wants to deal with babies and heat laps and brooders :/

I've been following all that craziness closely. It's unbelievable the amount of erosion that's been caused and the bandaids they're throwing on it!

Nope, I refused to sell to them, they wanted them mailed, and the more we talked the more I saw this as a losing deal for me....



Sometimes it is just better to tick them off without selling them eggs or chicks than to sell them and then tick the off.



Its like the people with toddlers that want to hold the chicks on the hour ride home..YOU know the chick will die, and I know I will be blamed for selling a sick chick
