I'm getting along o.k. for a guy with a 6" incision that wasn't there two weeks ago. Fortunately, it only hurts when I breathe. I'm certainly not accustomed to having to plan my every move in advance. But, this too shall pass.

Whites, I am glad you're on the mend. .....


That alcohol stove is cool, when I saw the flame I thought I need one of those. That flame was perfect for singeing meat birds.

Up with a minor migraine - hoping to get it to pass before it gets going, so much to do today. Baking bread at the moment, and once that's done, I'll get to work on finishing the brooder. Crowing at midnight last night again. I do think it must be the cats - that, or something was trying to get in to one of the coops. I'll check for signs of that today...

I hope the migraine doesn't stick around.
