Went into lock down on my bantam eggs. Now I'm just sitting here watching them ....... watching them......It's like waiting for water to boil or paint to dry, isn't it?

The only thing I have come to dislike about my Brinsea is the inconvenience of adding water to the water wells. You have to take the lid off and subsequently wait for it to build up temp and humidity again. To it's credit, it does reheat very rapidly and has held the temp steady from 99.5 to 100. I'd recommend it to anyone but wish they would redesign the water wells.

I've considered running a small tubing down the tower that usually holds the turning motor, and into the well so I could just inject water using a syringe but it keeps popping off the well cover.

Anyone ever dealt with this and how did you get around it?

@DwayneNLiz My son's trying to convince me that "giving me a chore every time I talk back doesn't work. I ended up with 100 chores." LOL

I told him, then it did work, because you remember it. So, everytime you talk back today, you get to do another chore!

He's crying that I'm so mean.... and I said "that's okay, it works out great for me, so keep on talking back."

He's not amused.

Shalom Benny. I hope you know I was not laughing at you, but the common way even here people get thrown by baby goats and lambs being called kids. I wonder if it is because of how they sound? Either way we need a different term.

Normal morning drama. Teenager is being a butt face. His sister hit him because he threw himself on the ground in front of her, and the baby is upset that there's so much drama, and the toddler wants to jump into the middle of the fray.

I always liked a line from the old program ''Roseanne" when she corrected one of her kids and the kid yelled "I hate you" at her. Instead of being offended she said "Good! I'm doing my job right then."

Good on you Kajira for being a good mother and attaching negative results from negative behavior. If more mothers did that we'd have a lot better society!
