EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

And how many munchkins?
None!!! :O for now.

Did you know I was reading about how long it takes to tame a piglet, and apparently, I'm a super mom pig? Sara likes me already ^.^

Granted, she doesn't come to me when I call her yet, but if I go into my daughters room, she willingly lets me touch her with out squealing, or running away for the most part. (which apparently is piglet progress that some people take like 4-6 weeks of daily handling to achieve.)

Now.... I just need to get her to come when called, so when she's outside, i'm not pig wrastling. ^.^

@Pensmaster - guess what?! I got my roof fixed today (well, the flapping panel part). I had hired "Critter Control" because there were raccoons living in the walls of my house. They are a little pricey, but they are VERY good - they set traps, will come and deal with emptying them (and relocating the animals), resetting them, etc. for a few weeks, and they also do an evaluation to see how they're getting into the house and IMPORTANTLY, they will do repairs to block those spots up at a very reasonable cost - they are handyman-type repairs, but ones I can't do myself. Roof repair cost me $49. 9In the past, raccoons had torn a big hole in the side of my house at the attic level - they did an amazingly secure repair.)

Oh, and we've gotten 3 raccoons so far, including the main big male that I think was the one living in my house walls...

Unless they're "relocated" permanently, like to a burn pile, they'll just find their way back or, just as bad, become someone else's problem.
