The little northern pike and bluegill are the very first fish 4 of 5 boys caught. Reward for being potty trained. When the ice breaks up we will get the last one out.

How this taxidermy of fish are made? Do you get to eat the fish meat? Are you familiar to the Japanese Gyotaku technique?

The northern above the crappie and perch is bigger. 43" caught thru the ice. Had no gaff it tore me up a little. That fish and perch (12.5") and bottom crappie (14") all came out of the same ice whole in the same week. The weekend before the wife caught the 15.5" crappie. The northern you don't want to meet at night I caught on a fly-in trip in Canada eh!

A good taxidermist can replicate the fish from photos and measurements; while the fish can be released unharmed.
So if I understand correctly, this are 100% replica, and they don't have any part of the animals like in mammals and birds. Am I correct?
