Well, Gee. I'm all depressed now. Hoping I'd found another fishing buddy. 

Don't worry; I'm sure there's other fishers here somewhere...

Can't find any Canadiens fans here either. In fact; 1 out of 2 of the hockey fans I've found here HATES the habs. She's a senators fan.

Interestingly enough I didn't even know who the habs were until last night. I was looking up some other stats to see how the hurricanes were doing (just as well to not have looked). Watched quite a bit of hockey when we were stationed in Alaska. They had a feeder team that was affiliated with the Hurricanes at the time. Not sure if they still are or not. Followed for the first couple of years we were here but couldn't keep my interest.

'Fraid I ain't no fisherman... Only done it a bit.

I have crappie, bluegill, Sunfish, bass, catfish, and some other little fish in my pond not to mention, way too many frogs. The crappie are a very fun use for the grubs that I get my yard and garden.

I think even the leafs beat them last game... Ouch

Hey now, I was gonna give you kudos for having such a phenomenal team. Lets not go throwing cheap shots. But yes if we have to get technical they are 7th in the Metro division.

A good taxidermist can replicate the fish from photos and measurements; while the fish can be released unharmed.

Habs' record was starting to look like that before Julien took the helm & trades happened. Amazing, really. They went from losing streaks to winning streaks.

No, they started with the actual fish. A replica mount, as I understand it, never having had a fish mounted, is built on a pre-made form, using pictures & vital measurements of the live fish prior to it being released unharmed into the water from which it was caught. It's not unlike painting a portrait from a photograph, instead of a live model.

@BantyChooks Good luck with your hockey. I never was much for hockey but I love to play broomball at recess. I bet you are far enough North even know what that is. I have to shake my head and explain it around here. Of course, they can't imagine having an ice rink for recess.
