I was quaking talking and singing to my eggs and boy, i got LOTS of peeping! And md starting rocking like crazy!So precious!
Well i asked them (by singing of course) will you be pipping soon? PEEP-PEEP! I hope that means yes. Still getting lots of peeping!

I wish i could but for some reason the computer will not open videos and the ducklings are kind of quiet so i do not think you could her. Guess you will just have to incubate some ducks.

My ducks are on days 16 and 9. 11 on day 16 and 22 on day 9, twelve under my broody, yes she had 100% fertility and no quitters in the first 7 days and 10 in my bator.

Despite this being the "Education" thread and knowledge is power, I know many here do not believe in "science".
Well be careful about what you wish for.
Well along with slashing the EPA by 31 percent (because environment is not important - I mean, who needs clean air to breath or uncontaminated water to drink), the new government plans to slash the NIH (National Institutes of Health) budget by 19% .
Does the new administration realize that public universities are staffed by, and most professors are paid by NIH grants? Professors do not get paid to teach students - Teaching is "university service" that you do for free.
What will happen is that the people that teach in universities will leave and either go into industry (yea drug companies pay well and many will do anything to get their untested products into the market regardless if safe or not), or they will join the "brain drain" out
of the US to countries that appreciate their dedication.
That will be sure to "make the USA great again".
And University education will be available only for the super rich kids who parents are lets face it- the ones that are going to benefit from the tax cuts, because it is not going to be helping the people in the lowest income brackets like small time homesteaders who are the salt of the earth.
Sounds great for NIH budget to be slashed and save all that money until you get heart disease and need an operation, or cancer and want the best treatment, or you want to send your hard working kid to a public college without you having to sell the farm to do it.
Maybe it is all part of the plan. Less well off people get sick and die much younger and then they don't have to draw on social security -PERFECT- makes the numbers look better!!

I was looking at the coops, I still can see putting out that much for something I can make cheaper and better. Kid is pushing for one of those clear lid bators but idk, hate messing up what I got going fine.

Have to get stuff done before work so will research later, but my dad had a few of these laying around and they will expire before we use it up on his horses.
