That's great! 50% on shipped isn't too bad, considering how delayed they got. Any white toes? I've got one solid black and one silvery with a white chin and a pink toe-tip under my broody. Gotta figure out who is throwing that white.

I will look closer tomorrow. I brought home around forty chicks. None of them got much of a look. I know the one we culled has white tips on pin like wing 'feathers'?? at hatch.

I can't find any info on this, but is there any way to drain excess fluid from an egg before hatch?

I have an ad on here (see the footer that no longer tells the truth about dux).....

If you go to the turkey talk thread and ask Finnie she can tell you about the color, my camera is kind of funky. I sent her a egg when she got some SS eggs. She laid it next to her "blue" eggs and there really is a difference.

I am not sure if mine are mixed or not, I know I get 18 eggs average a day from 23 birds. I would have to weigh the eggs and average the size. Also if you really want some rare birds, I have a dozen White legbar eggs to either sell or incubate. I am running out of incubator room so I am trying to sell off some eggs.

It might have something to do with the WWD thinking 200 chicks is too many to have in the basement...She opened the door to the basement and screamed "WHAT IS THAT TERRIBLE SMELL?" at me for no reason...
