All this duck hate... and we are over here loving our new ducks! They are used to me now and no longer take off in the other direction. They just associate me with food, but I'm okay with that!

I attempted to list my rooster on the bulletin board yesterday and quickly had my hand slapped due to the bird ban in effect here right now. Guess I am stuck with him a while longer.

I disagree. I disbud them all. Done correctly it is great especially if you do it early. They are easier on each other, you, and themselves when the can't get their horns stuck in a fence and strangle. I also have a scar on my lip from a kid jumping up with short horns. It hit my lip the side of my nose, and barely missed my eye. An occasional scur is no big deal. If you disbudd at a couple of weeks old when it goes very well.
