HELP:
My incubator rotator got unplugged for a little over 24 hrs on day 7-8. Will it effect the chicks that much?? I'm hoping they are going to be ok and it won't kill them. This is a VERY EXPENSIVE batch!! And it's the only chance at me having a special flock!

How cold did it get? Plug it in and wait a day or two and then candle them, I've had eggs get pretty cold and hatch.

might be fine just start turning again

Okay friends and neighbours this is the requested pic of the brooder set up. I was asking about my salmon favorelle hen with difficult tail feathers. I had the same hunch and increased their brooder by 3 square feet a few days ago.

Also to the gentleman inquiring about his incubator that got unplugged . How cold did it get? I agree with the others to just keep going and do not delay to plug it back in and monitor the hatch closely. I always get rid of dead eggs before they start to smell.
