If you set the eggs, then sell the chicks and make lots of $$$$$$$ then you can go buy the new bator.




How much more do you get for chicks compared to eggs, and how more many chicks would you need to hatch to pay for one, if the extra "egg" chicks were to be hatched?? Then you can justify buying one to WWD.




Hope you get what I was trying to say.




BTW justification is over rated IMO -easier to just do it and beg forgiveness .




Nothing would happen chez moi if we had to discuss everything.

I have 3 incubators (real ones)  4 foamies I try to never use and 1 hatcher. I am not sure I need more.  What I get for eggs and chicks depends on the breed.    I can justify anything.

I realy want a good Marans hen, for my colorful eggs basket ! It is extremely hard to find good Maranas breeding stock here!

So I guess I do want to hatch some Marsnas. I will pay 20$ for 4 eggs.

You may have a problem. AI outbreaks have caused shipping cessation in many states here.

It is a big problem, also from my part! It is against the low to order eggs ftom abroad, unless you pass an incredible long and troublesome process that make the all thing worthless.
