EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I am suffering from it more then 30 years. I think it something I have got from the military service.
NOTHING HELPED!
The only thing that reduces the pain in an "attack " is this
1000

I am now in the end of this painful situation.

I have a bushel basket of drugs that didn't work. I'll have to see if that one is in there. Celebrex helps a very little, but when it gets bad nothing works.

They have a buetifull one at our pet store
One what?

Did you see my post about adopting one rather than paying for a pet store bird?

Why do you people wait until after chick is hatched to sex them?

I find sexing the eggs is much more efficient.
It is a difficult skill. Have you mastered it?

I would sell her as a pet goat, not a breeding goat.
She may also have abandoned the babies because they were very premature. They couldn't walk. The baby is eating, pooping, and still cannot walk due to prematurity. So, it looks like he's going to be in a goat care crate until he's big enough to survive as a goat. The other goats are still pregnant. My guess is she just gave birth a little too early and didn't think her babies would survive so she abandoned them at birth.

she's been extremely cooperative for milking the colostrum like 6-8x a day so far for us... so she's not totally worthless.
I get that.
Besides the colostrum milk, have you looked into some Nutri-Drench for goats?
There are a lot of sources but here's one.

My L5 is in two pieces and has been for as long as I know.
Probably from being thrown from a horse (many times) when I was about 13.
I had no idea but once when playing tennis I had a debilitating pain in my lower back and couldn't move. After many x-rays at the Chiropractor, they finally discovered the problem.
Severe back pain was a part of life for about 25 or 30 years but I haven't had a problem in many years.

@kajira Prayers for your family at this difficult time. I hope your son is doing better. I hope the goat kids got enough colostrum and are well. I have been blessed with good mamma's.
@mlm Mike Gorgeous triplets! Nice colors for sale on the boys.
@MotorcycleChick I didn't miss you at all since you were gone and back in the twenty pages I was behind.

I am glad you are feeling better.
@ChickenCanoe It is a shame that sound advice is either ignored, or seen as being mean rather than an offer of experience to consider.
@Akrnaf2 That is one huge egg. Shalom
Kid's doing okay. Kid goat is drinking his mom's milk. I'm feeding him kind of "on demand" whenever he starts trying to eat me, I feed him some of his mom's milk. He's nursing ALL the time, but like .5 oz to an ounce all the time
