There are periods where we don't either and it's miserable. Especially if there's a north wind. Crickey it's hot then.

I find it hard to wrap my head around the idea wearing long sleeves is comfortable in summer...

Much more comfortable than getting skin cancer burned off your arms and legs. It's actually cooler as evaporation cools the skin next to the shirt.

Yup - imagine, if you will, being under the broiler in your oven. A layer of protection helps. (Not looking forward to those long walks to the car in the parking lot, roasting all the way....)

It's like trying to find the best spot in the winter from the rain. And you find the ones that will be shaded in the evening.

Kristin, considering I start avoiding outdoors as much as possible once it hits 80 and start complaining at 75, I think I had better keep my mouth shut anyway to avoid getting clobbered.
