doing a staggered hatch - 1 chick out, 2 more pips out of the 3 eggs... and then it will just be turkey eggs. lol

apparently, the staggered hatch hasn't hurt anything.

Hey, mushroom people - I found these on the edge of my aged compost pile. Oyster? (They look like them to me...) They are about the size of the palm of my hand.

For what it's worth, same thing happened to me after the first shot. It took two shots for me, but once the second shot was done, I got some relief (long enough to make it through the healing process).

Stuck the two babies that hatched, under my broody - she acted really confused. I took her other eggs and candled them, took the couple that looked alive and put them into the incubator. I want her out of my house, so giving her a few babies and then sticking her in the juvie pen is the best way to do that lol
