So cute! She accepted the different colored ones too? What a good mom. I had a broody once that rejected a different colored chick so now I try to give them ones that look similar.

She accepted all except my silkie chick. So my poor silkie chick is in the brooder by itself until a few more babies hatch out.

In s hurry but had to pop in and show you my BLRW chicks. Guessing I got 3 blue, 2 black and a splash, but hard to tell for sure at this age. These put the flock at over 50 birds. Ok back to fence work, then hope to get bird chores done before work.

Super! I always wanted those as lawn ornaments - please share photos as they grow out as you can.

Knowing my birds, that was certainly a possibility.
