EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

NOOO had enough, around five weeks old they started eating grain like mad and then came the poop!!! now they did poop before that but OMG those little pellets could scatter and cover the floor the moment I left them out of the kennel!

Quote: I think 20 bucks for 10 tests and shipping two or three bucks. I took out warm water and they all guzzled and just held a clean cup under when one squatted, then its just the matter of cooling urine to room temp 30 mins and then syringing urine into the vile to the marked line. no issues at all. I read so much on these tests, seems they had issues with them, but they must have done something different to them as this past breeding season I am reading only good about these specific tests.

ps I think the buck knew what he was doing before I did

yes, they will try to my other goats some very young, but they may not be fertile to six to 10 months depending on the breed.

Somehow, antifreeze & food grade used together just don't sound right.
We also have right at 2400 sf to heat. We do it with the largest woodstove Timberline ever made, rated @ 2500. We cut floor vents upstairs & pulled out 90% of the glass insulation (modular house; not designed with basements in mind). The stairs going to the main level act as a natural chimney, but it's still a little cool upstairs.
We'll go through 4-5 cords ourselves, heating far less than you do, and in a warmer climate.
We've used wood heat for so long, I have no idea whether our home insurance is higher or not. Makes no difference; still cheaper than paying the power crooks for heat.
