@meltel Hey friend I hope you are doing better. I said a quick prayer for you as I thought if you with my plank torture. I am working on it, but not quite as fast as thirty days. When I got to multiples of sixty seconds I had to start breaking it down which is adding days.

I think they are good though. I need to contact someone in physical therapy to get a recommendation of strengthening my C 3 area. The old work injury is my biggest concern along with my ankle. It needs to be strong for days with a pack.

We raised 2, and there were times when I felt like holding them about a foot off the ground against a wall with one hand & wearing them out with the other.....yeah, my temper was a lot worse then than it is now. The only thing that stopped me was the memory of both my parents hitting me in anger & frustration with one another, and my promise to myself that my kids wouldn't grow up that way.

They would not help me since I don't have a tractor. I finally gave up on just pushing round bales by hand, and got a bale buggy. I am getting too old for pushing them everywhere. It doesn't lift them like that though.

Did your truck pass?

It is still there. I didn't have an appointment but when I went in there Tuesday he told me if I brought it in this morning, he'd get it done before the end of the day.
There's a few issues with it. I don't think any are daunting. The windshield is cracked in the upper right corner so that pass will depend on the individual inspector. The check engine light comes and goes - like every other time you start it.
If the brakes don't pass, I'll have them go ahead and fix them. The front brakes are good but the rear drums are iffy. There are new pads in a box in the trunk they can use. They are good about letting me bring in parts. This truck is tricky for brake replacement.
It is 22 years old with 250,000 miles but the price was right. It was owned by a good friend's father who just died. Both of them are/were excellent mechanics. The engine is strong. The transmission was rebuilt with upgraded parts, as was the rear differential. All sensors on the engine and the catalytic converter were replaced about a year ago. They put 3/4 ton leaf springs on it. It has a camper shell but the body has a lot of cancer. All the bed and cab mounts are good and I think suspension and steering is good.
His dad used it as his daily driver to his plating company in Illinois (100 miles round trip) and for hauling plated parts.

If there's nothing real serious wrong with it, I'll probably start working on the body and maybe a paint job.

Even when I could no longer read a newspaper, I could still see the computer monitor for a while.

He'll get over it, hopefully sooner than later.

My son went through a lengthy period like that. He does OK but he could do more.

you should look into yoga/pilates
one of my girlfriends is doing Piyo and it has really helped her

We raised 2, and there were times when I felt like holding them about a foot off the ground against a wall with one hand & wearing them out with the other.....yeah, my temper was a lot worse then than it is now.
