EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Not dumb...instinctive.
When I was in the hospital in Feb. the nurse practitioner put me in a wheelchair & we went to another part of the building for something electronic about the size of a portable TV. He laid it on the bed next to my chair, but it wasn't steady, & fell to the floor. I'm sitting there, catheter & all, and grabbed for it before I thought about it.

A while back, I was out riding in an English saddle, which I was not used to. Horse lurched, I went off balance and fell, smack dab onto the wood fencing along side. Had I just hit the boards, I'd have had sore ribs for a week at most. Instead, I threw out my hand to try & catch myself.... Tore my rotator cuff, it's been giving me grief ever since. Instincts can sure get you in trouble.

Edit: Because of that, I hoist feed bags with my right arm, mostly. You should see the looks I get @ the feed store. :gig
Ain't showing off, honest, it just hurts to use the other one more than a bit.

Whites, here's the snake. I set it up on the path like it's alive, to scare DH when he gets home. We'll see how badly this backfires on me.
It looks dead to me.
I don't know about my diction, but I do know my voice type is dealing with a headset and my tractor trailers engine noise. So that makes it even more complicated.
The engine/road noise has to mess with it.
It didn't fool anyone because they didn't see it. :/ they were carrying in 40 lbs of crawfish and had their minds on more important matters. :lau

Ah, I see. Honestly, I mostly have just made chèvre via the cheesemaking.com recipe. It's only recent;y that I've gotten access to goat milk again, so I haven't gotten to try the others. Chèvre is super easy for a beginning cheesemaker.
I will check that. By the way, that book was The Total Goat. I also have Raising Goats the Modern Way and Storey's.
