I've had; dogs, chickens, chicks, ducklings, poults, and fish on the Harley. In my shirt, in my jacket, on my lap and in the bags.
All year round (chicks rode an hour when it was in the teens).

It freaks me out. I can drive, but I avoid it at all costs. I've managed to never have to.
