Not sure about tail curls but she says it does indeed quack. She sent me a photo of the duck standing with the tail in sight.

It's well over six weeks by now, according to her it sounds like "a rather high pitched weepweepweep" noise.

Alright so it's a little young for a drake feather, looks to be about 6 to 7 maybe 8 weeks in that first pic.
