EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Rinse it out first. Actually, once rinsed, you should have a (covered and out of reach) bucket of bleach water that they sit in until washed.
I can do diapers, but still struggle with animal poop in the machine. It's in how our minds work.
I think I could buy stock in the new laundry sanitizer out. I'd make a fortune on myself!
Of course, cloth diapers are at least useful when you run out of disposables, or money to get them.
Aren't you potty trained YET?!

Having a bucket of anything doesn't survive around here with toddlers, I can't risk bleach and my little ones in the same house. We use vinegar for cleaning, and that just wouldn't be stomachable for me with diapers. LOL

I've considered it, I just know myself and know that I don't want to deal with it, and I can promise you my husband would never agree to wash out a poopy diaper and wash it in the laundry. He's totally willing to change a regular diaper, but that's about his limit. LOL

Average is @ 20%. It's almost half and half on the numbers. 6 of the 12 are at 20% or under. 6 are over 20% with 2 maxing out at 24%.

Edited to add: Just found two pips! Both are malpo though...will be watching closely.
Typically, you would alter the humidity at lockdown to fix an issue. Sounds like you are at the point of just waiting for them to hatch.
Don't worry about the malpos. They seem to change direction and/or hatch fine quite often.

Duck eggs are looking awful full. I think I'm locking down day 24 just to be safe, since air cells are large anyway. I think I'm seeing drawdown on the one with a complete CAM.

I ran 100.5, I think... Hard to tell on that little bitty display. I need more thermometers.

:hugs :hugs

Busy! Busy!
May I make a suggestion? Cloth diapers can be ordered that are diaper and cover in one! They have velcro sides, and you can get all kinds of designs!

I have issues with those: they cost more, the velcro wears out quickly, and they take ages to dry. I prefer the flats/prefolds with a cute cover. But to each their own!

Due 15 November!

Score! Found flats for $5 for a pack of five at the Walmart. Gonna snag those when we go stateside in a few weeks, I got a Walmart near my parents who stock them and will do store pickups. That about rounds out all I need and no more diapering stuff should be necessary.

Weed screen is down and birds got dewormer today. Didn't cover the whole thing but got enough covered in the garden that we don't need a lot of screening. Cukes and peppers go in once that's finished.

Results should be here next week at the very latest. I have an appointment Thursday for urine tests and probably discuse the results and gender!

Hi everybody. Hand/arm has been bad so haven't been on much. will do readback if I can. Waiting for the Dr. to call to see if he can prescribe anything that might help the pain. Birds are all good. will check back in later :hugs

HI Mel, Hopefully you got something for the pain. I'm glad the birds are all dong good.
