Mornin Sunshine, how's you today? <3

Radioman is Fisherlady's husband. I thought he was around in the olden days of the PA thread when we were all getting drunk together, and bidding for eggs on Ebay we didn't remember the next day.

My diet has pretty much been eggs and powdered milk lately.

But what if you accidentally bid on some super xpensive eggs?

:hugs I'll airlift you a fresh loaf of banana bread!

itsonly good 24 hrs frozen that dont make sense what do you mean deep freeze?
Milk you put in the freezer, a deep freezer, is good for a year frozen. (Date bags, discard or use old milk - with the exception of expired milk being good to make soap and non-ediable products after a year - you can make breastmilk soap, too, but i'm pretty sure my family wouldn't appreciate being given human milk soap. haha)

Once you thaw the milk - it's good for 24 hours, you need to use it with in that window, or discard it after 24 hours of being unfrozen.

Out of the fridge, it's good for 2 hours once thawed.

LOL! I don't bid on eggs, and I have learned my lesson about "winning" eggs. I will not be doing anymore hatching of anything but my SPR. Even the violet bantam Ameraucanas for Duckling are on hold.
You do that.

Quote: as far as the worms, I so feel for you, errrr ummmm not quite the right words in this discussion lmao!! anyways yes diet does I have read and so does keeping it cool as soon as it comes out of the goat. Some use ice bucket with a bucket in it or a ice brick right in the bucket with milk.
An ice brick would have to dilute the milk if it weren't in a watertight bag, wouldn't it?
yes of course, but a simple ziplock of ice would work if it stays closed

None of the eggs in my incubator are developing. :( Not a single one out of the 2 dozen. So, I'm giving them until the new silkie eggs get here, and trading them out.

Morning. No definite plans, just hopeful ones. So I do have to scurry around for boxes and make up address labels in the next few hours.
The storm that came through was wicked, so I am going to be cleaning up from that. And I do have to fix a pop door. No clue how though.
Got a son that can come and magically fix all of my carpentry problems?

Morning Abi. Hope you did ok in the storms. No rain here yet. Supposed to start last night.
