EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

My eval yesterday was a joke. I thought Bill was going to strangled the guy with the measuring tape. Have no idea how it went because he said "I can't tell you" when Bill asked about the measurement and temp results" He also walked out on me and said he would not look at pics of my hand because how did he know if that was my actual hand if my face wasn't in them???? He didn't even have the b*alls to tell us himself-has a tech come and tell us. :smack Poor lady looked embarrassed and afraid.

I normally don't have a lot nice to say about doctors, but this is funny:

A couple weeks ago, after putting up with all-too-frequent itching in the middle of my back, where I couldn't scratch or see it, I broke out a wall mirror & set it up so I could see what was going on. What I saw was an angry-looking circular mark taking up what seemed to be half my back, red & purple, like a bad bruise. Problem was I hadn't fallen against anything, nor had anything fallen on me. Off to the family doctor. He couldn't explain it, said it didn't look like the work of a tick, & prescribed an antibiotic. The antibiotic worked great, and 4 days later the doctor "proclaimed" me cured (his words, not mine). As our visit ended & he followed out of the office, he said, "D**n I'm good!" :D

I have to say I have the utmost respect for Dr's. I have a great "team" with my PCP and my new OT. Even my ortho is trying to help me. But comp's job is to find reasons to not pay for care. They do not like the diagnosis of RSD/CRPS because it is a chronic lifelong condition with no cure. It is also hard to diagnose since there is not one test that can absolutely verify it. A nerve block would help a lot, especially helping me with therapy so I am praying they will approve that and PT to help me get pain control and function back. Just like other professions, there are good docs and bad docs. I am happy that I have so many good ones looking out for me and a good husband, his family and my friends-especially my chicken peeps who have been so supportive :hugs

Would the pain ever go away completely?
