EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Trying to stay positive and praying they approve my nerve blocks. :fl I'll know within a week. If those don't work, the only other treatment are ketamine infusions and I know how you feel about ketamine :barnie . But my therapist thinks it is spreading up my arm, and shoulder and into my chest wall and part of my right hand so as soon as approval comes through I will start aggressive OT/PT and the nerve blocks with PMR docs and pain management/anesthesia. Long road ahead but looking for recovery and relief. :fl:hugs
:hugs:hugs:fl
Out of curiosity, I wonder what distinguishes a wise man from a wise guy.

I used it on patients a lot in the ER for closed reductions. Didn't see anyone have a bad reaction so i am good with it if it will help me heal. But i am praying we don't have to look at that option and that the nerve blocks work because it is super expensive and I can't imagine what I will have to go through with comp to have it paid for :bow

And, that's usually the normal reaction. I also had a bad reaction to Phenergan (the anti-nausea medication.) so, if there's like a 1% rare chance of something happening, i'm the person it happens too. Not only do I carry the red-head gene, but I'm also autistic, and have the autistic genetics that make things not work right. Fun stuff huh?

High pain tolerance, but once I feel it, things go sour, fast. LOL

No, a very rational fear!:lau

No I don't have a fear of horses now.

We got a new horse a few weeks ago. I can't get close to him yet. Haven't tried to ride him yet. He let hubby sort of do his feet, with many reservations. He's supposedly an ex barrel racer horse, so I just need to win his heart.

They are fast little suckers. I will try later. I am on break now. hand flared up so have to wait for meds to kick in before I can do anything else.
:hugs

After I get back from the store, I will get you pictures.

If she can't do it one handed, I bet she can talk her partner into doing it for her. He seems pretty willing to do indulge her bird needs. :p

I've never owned any horses, thought about it from time to time.
