I bought some rabbits at the beginning of this month and got 1 buck and 1 doe. The doe had kits yesterday and I didn't know she was bred so she was outside in a pen so all 9 kits died before I discovered them and I was wondering how soon I could breed her back.

technically, you could alreaday breed her again, they can get pregnant as soon as the day after they give birth. However, I'd give her a couple weeks before breeding her

Totally irrelevant..but too funny not to spread all over a CHICKEN forum, right? The background: My granddaughter Little Diane (called that because she's named after me, of course

) got a promotion at work and her hours changed. Now, she and her husband of 2 years have always worked screwy hours and mealtimes are sporadic - and late - but this night Dustin wanted to have a nice dinner waiting for her when she got home. The results are hilarious! She posted the text messages that went back and forth between them on Facebook today and I can't stop laughing. Don't forget to read the last line!

Aww, poor Oreo! Actualy, he's my daughter's rabbit and very much an indoor, part of the family. He demands attention am the time. We put him outside in a hutch this summer and I sweat, he hated every minute of it. He'd dump his food where he couldn't get it daily, just so someone would come over to refill it and pet him for a second lol
