Totally irrelevant..but too funny not to spread all over a CHICKEN forum, right? The background: My granddaughter Little Diane (called that because she's named after me, of course

) got a promotion at work and her hours changed. Now, she and her husband of 2 years have always worked screwy hours and mealtimes are sporadic - and late - but this night Dustin wanted to have a nice dinner waiting for her when she got home. The results are hilarious! She posted the text messages that went back and forth between them on Facebook today and I can't stop laughing. Don't forget to read the last line!

Man, taming my ducks was an interesting experience, they now try to swallow me everytime I change their food, water, or mess with anything in their brooder. They *Really* like mealworms. Yikes! I can just see me being swarmed by a pile of ducks when I go outside to get eggs when they are older.

I contacted a nigerian dwarf breeder who sells her babies. I want a couple pregnant does in the spring.... she knows I want them for milk and she asked me what I planned to do with all the babies....

Sell them? LOL I won't eat my pets, but.. I can't promise other people won't eat them???? I don't know. If you're going to sell goats, you can't assume everyone wants a pet goat when they get one. It would be better to just "not ask" right? LOL

I dunno how to answer that question.
