It was 108+ today with like 40% humidity down here. It was AWFUL. My poor birds, i'm surprised no one died.

101F here. Birds ok, but not terribly happy. I need to get the misters set up (they're not set up for the season yet).

I'm definitely going to try the streamer/flagging tape. Do you have it about 4 foot spacing?

Honestly, I just run it back and forth criss crossing it from stake to stake - there's not a specific spacing. But I do try to close any largish holes/gaps.

Taking another break - been doing regular chores today (rinsing waterers and cleaning coops), but it's taken ALL DAY because it's so hot. Ugh. Two more coops to go. Guess I should head back out.

If I had gotten going earlier when it was cooler, I would have gotten more done. I'm going to try to do so tomorrow. As for today, stick a fork in me, I'm done. I even just ordered a pizza (and I like to cook, so that's saying a lot).

Today was a bit rough. I was out in it all day, and it's early in the summer, so 101F is still overly hot. Come August it'll still be hot, but more bearably so.
