It was good to be with family, even if I had to spend time in the ER being diagnosed with Lymes.
As far as the fishing goes, I pretty much expected it to happen the way it did, based on past experiences.

Chanties are getting tamer, slowly but surely. One jumped onto my lap yesterday without encouragement. Of course, Jace promptly got jealous and chased it off, but it was a start.

Boy, this past week you have that right.. I have to get better soon or they won't do my surgery on Thursday.. The way I feel the last week, I am thinking I could live out the rest of my life comfortably on $20 bill...


I tried to gather eggs yesterday and couldn't finish the WWD had to do it for me....Not a good sign.

I hatched a Toad two days ago..Bad hatch, 11 eggs and 1 viable chick a second hatched but wry legs and neck, so he visited the gas chamber yesterday..

Luckily I had a turkey hen that lost her chick 2 days ago so I grafted the lone toad to the turkey hen....
