Is there such thing as a hatching season in central florida?
We might get some frost in Jan.
Up here hatching needs to be done by July or you're gonna have issues with heat.

Too many ducks. They eat like pigs. Plus, can't find eggs..

I ended up with 14 quail. I learned a few things the hard way with those little guys :(

The most important thing I learned was to put them under a heat light or on warming pads. My heater in my brooder turns off. BAD :barnie Chicken do ok with it but those little quail need constant heat.
You should learn about the S/V ratio, how it's changes according to the body size, and how it's influence on the heat loosing in Endothermic criterers.
