Good morning!! Just thought I would give an update, out of the 28 eggs 27 are growing beautifully. All the air cells are well defined now and at the proper location. So.. Tues is lockdown day. I will remove the turner and wait for those polish babies!

Unfortunately, with vacation coming and how we get cheated I have to work tomorrow to help with extra money.
Road drivers get the average of their last six weeks, office people get their normal check, and those of us who are local only get paid forty hours. Since we average sixty plus that is unfair especially since the extra hours except the occasional Saturday are not voluntary.

I have four days off if I want to take it. Otherwise go to work and act busy. I'm opting for the four day. It's just been too hot here, yesterday we smashed the all time record for over night lows. 72 old record 78 new record. My thermometer outside says 80 this morning at 5:30

Get control of the chicken population around here I think. I have 20 or so 4 month olds and 20 or so older birds that need to go. That obviously won't happen all this weekend but it will feel better around here if I get started on it. The end product will be fun.
